The U.S. horror film "The Birds" was released in American theaters on March 28, 1963, and in German theaters on September 20, 1963. The film, starring Tippi Hedren and Rod Taylor, is one of director Alfred Hitchcock's masterpieces: aggressive birds attack people - seemingly without reason, but all the more terrifying for it. "It could be the scariest film I've ever made," Hitchcock is said to have said about this film.
