2024-12-10 - 30th Anniversary of Nobel Peace Prize for Arafat, Peres and Rabin
Israeli Prime Minister Izchak Rabin, PLO leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on 10 December 1994 for their efforts to end the violent conflicts between Israelis and Palestinians. The three politicians had signed the historic Middle East Agreement in Washington in 1993, which led to the creation of autonomous Palestinian territories in areas previously occupied by Israel.
