2027-03-25 - 70th Anniversary Roman Treaty
On 25 March 1957, the prime ministers and foreign ministers of Belgium, the Federal Republic of Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands signed the treaties on the European market (European Economic Community, EEC ) and the nuclear community EURATOM in the Conservators' Palace on the Capitol in Rome. This also laid the foundation stone for the European Union.
