500 Jahre Schloss Chambord
Im Jahre 1519 begann der Bau des imposantesten Schlosses des Loiretals: Chambord. Das Schloss Chambord wurde von König Franz I. als Jagdschloss entworfen und wurde während der Herrschaft Ludwigs XIV. fertiggestellt, der beschloss, neue Wohnungen zu bauen und prächtige Gärten zu gestalten. Chambord Castle, das seit 1981 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört, zieht heute jedes Jahr Millionen von Besuchern an und trägt zum Einfluss Frankreichs auf der ganzen Welt bei.
