«aeo» - The Doctor Robot

The Japanese company Aeolus Robotics has introduced "aeo" - a doctor robot. It is a two-armed humanoid robot that offers new applications for a variety of service tasks, such as delivery, security, elderly care, kiosk operation and germicidal UV disinfection. If you're lying on the floor, it picks you up - that's the nature of the "aeo", so to speak. A real doctor robot! The "aeo" combines unique mobility with advanced functionality to perform tasks such as opening doors, picking up objects and driving lifts. The "aeo" robot is available as a service robot and features plug-and-play attachments and integration from third-party developers such as Asratec from Japan and Malibu AI in Taiwan. The two arms have seven degrees of freedom (DOF), so "aeo" can use one arm to perform tasks such as delivery or disinfection, while the other arm is free for mobility tasks such as operating lifts and opening doors.
