The Italian Giorgio Armani, born 11. July 1934, is the founder, sole owner, CEO and designer of his eponymous brand and one of the most important fashion designers of our time. Soon after the label's founding in 1975, the name Armani became a permanent fixture in the fashion world and today denotes a successful design empire, expanded to include cosmetics, restaurants and hotels, among other things.
