With the slogan "Peace to the huts, war to the palaces," Louisa Baroness von Freytag Löringhoff is advertising herself as a direct candidate for the Bundestag on posters in the Thuringian district of Gotha. The student is running for the Marxist-Leninist Party of Germany (MLPD), which advocates a classless, communist social order. That this irritates people, she can understand, says the 27-year-old old noblewoman. "I've committed class treason, so to speak."
