Beatrix, Ex-Königin der Niederlande - Porträts
Beatrix of Orange-Nassau, born Jan. 31, 1938, was Queen of the Netherlands from 1980 to 2013. Even after her abdication, now once again with the title Princess of the Netherlands, she attends numerous official appointments, as ever with her trademarks - the radiant smile, the ever-same hairstyle and the big hats. She was married to her German-born husband, Prince Claus, from 1966 until his death in 2002 and had three sons: Willem-Alexander, Constantijn and Friso, who died in 2013.
