Author Noah Gordon is dead
US author Noah Gordon died at home on Monday (local time) at the age of 95, according to his family. Gordon achieved great international success with "The Medicus", which was published in 1986 with the original title "The Physician". In it, the orphan Rob Jeremy Cole sets off from England to the Persian city of Isfahan in the 11th century to study medicine with the famous physician Ibn Sina.
