Boris Johnson becomes a father again
Fatherly joy in Downing Street: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson (57) is going to be a daddy again. These are private lines with which his wife Carrie (33) announces the happy news and adds: "This Christmas we hope to have our rainbow baby". Rainbow babies are babies conceived after a miscarriage. So it was with the Johnsons. "Earlier this year I had a miscarriage that broke my heart," the text reads. But now their baby son Wilfred, born on 29 April 2020, is getting a sibling. For the young woman it is the second child - for her husband at least the sixth. It is known that Boris Johnson's first marriage to the artist Allegra Mostyn-Owen remained childless and that his second marriage to the lawyer Marina Wheeler produced four now grown-up children, two daughters and two sons. Rumours about at least one illegitimate child have been circulating for years. Now the second child will follow in a few months with Carrie, whom Johnson married at the end of May.
