Clint Eastwood (actually Clinton Eastwood Jr.) was born on May 31, 1930 in San Francisco (California) and made his mark on film history like no other. His career began in the 1950s, but his big breakthrough came in the 1960s with Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns such as “For a Fistful of Dollars”. He later became an action icon with the “Dirty Harry” series. As a director, he proved his mastery with films such as “Merciless” and “Million Dollar Baby”, for which he won several Oscars. Eastwood is still active as a filmmaker and actor today and remains one of Hollywood's greatest personalities.
