Bill Clinton, born 19 August 1946, US politician of the Democratic Party and 42nd President of the USA (1993-2001). He began his political career as governor of Arkansas. Since the end of his second term as US president, he has been committed to the fight against AIDS through the Clinton Global Initiative, which is part of his foundation. He has been married to Hillary Clinton, former US Secretary of State and current Democratic presidential candidate, since 1975. The couple has a daughter and two grandchildren.
