Currency changeover: Euro replaces Kuna in Croatia
With the turn of the year 2022/23, Croatia will have a new currency from 1 January 2023. The euro will replace the kuna. From now on, 100 kuna will be worth the equivalent of 13.27 euros. The kuna has been the currency of the Republic of Croatia since 30 May 1994 and is issued by the Croatian National Bank. Croatia has been a member of the European Union (EU) since 1 July 2013.
