The case of Gregory Villemin
Four-year-old Grégory Villemin from the French town of Lépanges-sur-Vologne was murdered in October 1984. The little boy's body was found near his parents' house in the Vologne river. The investigation in this case lasted more than 30 years and even in 2017 there were still arrests after the investigators had new information. To date, however, the cruel act has not been solved and no one guilty has been convicted. The "Grégory Affair" is one of the biggest judicial scandals in France, one of the most mysterious murder cases in the country's history.
