The killer clown John Wayne Gacy

John Wayne Gacy is one of the most perfidious serial killers in human history. Wearing a homemade clown costume, he went to street parties as "Pogo the Clown" to make children laugh. To the outside world, he seemed like the perfect father and husband and was also highly regarded by the neighborhood. Then in 1972 he began his first murder of a 16 year old. He intercepted young men on the roadside or in bars and offered them a ride home. Instead, he took them to his home, where he then abused and killed them. After some of his victims managed to escape, Gacy was suspected of being responsible for the numerous missing persons cases and was subsequently placed under surveillance by the police. After he could no longer withstand the pressure, he revealed to his lawyer that he had committed 30 murders. He then went to the police, who obtained a search warrant. Over the course of several days, investigators found the bodies of the missing persons hidden under his house. Gacy's last words before the lethal injection were "Kiss my ass".
