A win for the woman: Darts star Wright stuns as the Grinch

On the biggest darts stage in the world world champion Peter Wright looked like a changed man. After difficult weeks in which he had to take a break because of health problems of his wife Joanne, everything was right again on Thursday evening for the World Championship start in London. "It's good to have my wife Jo back in the audience cheering me on. She's on the mend now, which is a big relief," said the "Snakebite" nicknamed Wright after his trouble-free 3-0 over Northern Ireland opener Mickey Mansell.
