EXCLUSIVE - Stefanie Hertel: Dis­cov­er­ing the Vogtland with her family

Just get out and think about something else. Stefanie decided on the spur of the moment to grab her backpack and hiking boots, pack her husband and daughter along with the two dogs Keri and Freddy, and pick up dad Eberhard in Oelsnitz. And there the enterprising family gang was already almost at the goal: 3-generation vacation in the Vogtland. Spontaneously diving off for a few days, enjoying summer days in the countryside and making excursions into the surrounding area on shoestring. Even Papa Eberhard rediscovered his homeland: from a relaxing swim in the thermal baths in Bad Elster to SUP bathing fun in the Zeulenroda Sea and exploring the Vogtland Panorama hiking trail with cooling off in the White Elster River. Born and raised in the Vogtland region of Saxony, Stefanie Hertel has long since found her second home in the Chiemgau region. The nature and animal lover is deeply rooted in both regions. Professionally, the singer and presenter is always in the city, "there I enjoy the liveliness, the many different people. But in terms of type, I'm a nature person. I like to go to the mountains, swim in the lake, simply walk barefoot across the meadow. This peace and quiet gives me strength. In the Chiemgau I am at home and the Vogtland is my Haamet."
