Ferry capsizes off Cyprus: eight dead
At least eight people have died in the serious ferry accident off the coast of Cyprus. The search is still on for 18 people who are missing. The express ferry “Filo Jet” capsized yesterday shortly after leaving the port city of Kyrenia. According to the authorities, passengers who were rescued have made serious allegations against the captain. He and seven crew members have been arrested.
