French actress Nathalie Delon died
French actress Nathalie Delon is dead. The ex-wife of movie star Alain Delon died Jan. 21 in Paris at the age of 79. "My mother died in Paris at 11 o'clock this morning, surrounded by her relatives," Delon's son Anthony was quoted as saying. The actress had been suffering from cancer. On Instagram, Anthony Delon posted "R.I.P Maman" (in German: Ruhe in Frieden, Mama). Delon became known in 1967 with the film thriller "The Ice Cold Angel". In it she starred alongside Alain Delon, to whom she was married in the 1960s. From the relationship also came the son Anthony. Later she starred, among others, in the thriller "Bluebeard" by American director Edward Dmytryk and the comedy "Are you interested?". Nathalie Delon also worked as a director and screenwriter.
