Fridays for Future: Protest in Berlin
Thousands of people gathered in Berlin on Friday (31 May 2024) for a demonstration organised by the climate protection movement Fridays for Future. In an initial estimate, the police spoke of more than 5,000 participants. According to the organisers, more than 13,000 people demonstrated in Berlin for climate protection, democracy and against the right. The rally started at noon in front of the Brandenburg Gate.
