Garfield - Cartoons
On 19.06.1978, the comic cat "Garfield" by cartoonist Jim Davis appeared for the first time in American newspapers and enjoyed worldwide popularity. Since the mid-eighties, the comic strips have also been available in Germany. The stories about the cynical and self-righteous cat, who hates assembly and for whom lasagna is vital, have also appeared as radio plays, animated series and have been filmed several times. Thomas Gottschalk is the German dubbing voice of the cat in "Garfield - Der Film" from 2004.
