"Granfluencers" defy age stereotypes online
Günther Krabbenhöft is the epitome of the phrase: "You are only as old as you feel." In an elegant outfit including a Panama hat and a fine waistcoat, he dances to techno music in his videos alongside much younger people at parties. The 79-year-old proudly announced in an interview with the German Press Agency that he has over 300,000 followers on Instagram. One thing is important to the Kreuzberg native: he dances for himself, he dresses for himself, and he doesn't care about trends. Nevertheless, he sometimes goes to shows at Fashion Week, which starts again in Berlin on July 1st.
