Harry Kane receives golden shoe
Harry Kane held the coveted “Golden Boot” in his hands with a smile. After scoring 36 Bundesliga goals in his debut season for the German soccer record champions, the FC Bayern goalscorer was honored as Europe's top scorer at a gala in Munich's club museum. Kane had been Europe's top scorer in the 2023/24 season. “It's a special award and a fantastic feeling. I can only say thank you, thank you to Bayern Munich and my teammates. It's been hard work,” said 31-year-old Kane, who was accompanied at the ceremony by his family and wife Katie Goodland, as well as his parents. “I wouldn't be standing here without my family. They have always supported me,” said Kane.
