«Art for the loo» aid project: support for clubs and bars

The Corona aid project "Art for the loo" has already collected more than 210,000 euros for distressed clubs and bars on St. Pauli. "We didn't expect such success," initiator René Piroth told the German Press Agency. Together with his former roommates Stefan Schoder and Anne Stein, the 38-year-old photographed original toilet slogans on the bars' toilets, edited the pictures on the computer and had them printed at cost price in a print shop. More than 60 Hamburg bars are now participating in the project. The proceeds from the sale of the photo prints go directly to the locations.
