Iran and Ukraine Wars: Netanyahu and Zelenskyy Meet Trump

For the first time since the start of the Iran war, US President Donald Trump hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. The visit was eagerly awaited, not least because diverging interests regarding the war—launched jointly by Israel and the US in late February—had recently exposed rifts in the relationship between the close allies. Immediately prior to meeting Netanyahu, Trump had hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House.
