Iran War
Iran and the United States have agreed to a two-week ceasefire and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz shortly before the expiration of an ultimatum issued by US President Donald Trump. Iran had effectively blocked the Strait of Hormuz, through which approximately one-fifth of the world's traded crude oil passes, following the start of the American-Israeli attacks in late February. This particularly affects Asian countries that import the majority of their fuel from the Gulf region.
