John Malkovich turns 70 (09.12.2023)
The US actor and film producer John Gavin Malkovich was born on 9 December 1953 in Christopher, Illinois. In 1983 he moved to New York, where he appeared on Broadway in 1984 alongside Dustin Hoffman in the play by Arthur Miller "Dead of a Salesman". He was nominated for "Best Supporting Actor" in 1985 for his role in the feature film "A Place in the Heart". Other well-known films followed, such as "The Killing Fields" (1984), "Dangerous Liaisons" (1988), "Of Mice and Men" (1992), "Con Air" (1997), "Ripley's Game" (2002), "Burn after Reading" (2008) and many others. John Malkovich has been married twice. From 1982 to 1988 with the actress Glenne Headly. Since 1989 he has been married to film director Nicoletta Peyran with whom he has two children, Loewy and Amandine.
