British rock musician John McVie was born on 26 November 1945 in Ealing, London. He became famous primarily as the bassist for the band Fleetwood Mac, which was founded in 1967. In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Fleetwood Mac.
