Lance Armstrong turns 50 (October 18, 2021)
Lance Armstrong will be 50 years old on September 18, 2021. Armstrong was once one of the absolute top cyclists in the world. He won seven consecutive Tour de France races from 1999 onwards. He was practically the “Michael Jordan of cycling” or, if you will, the “Tiger Woods of the Tour de France”. Apart from sport, the latter had one more thing in common with him: scandals. Due to evidence of performance-enhancing drug use, he was stripped of the Tour de France title in 2012. Armstrong did not admit doping until a year later. The purified Armstrong has been running the podcast "The Forward" since 2016, in which he regularly interviews prominent guests about how they deal with setbacks on their résumés.
