Leaning Tower of Pisa turns 850 years old
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is probably the most famous leaning building. The landmark in Tuscany is 850 years old this year, the foundation stone was laid on 9 August 1173. Through extensive measures, the campanile of the cathedral was saved from falling down more than 20 years ago.
