His pose is modeled after the statue of Lumumba standing in Kinshasa, the capital of the Congo—a tribute to President Patrice Lumumba, who was assassinated in 1961. As a renowned "superfan," the 49-year-old was even officially included in the Congolese federation's delegation. Mboladinga gained wider recognition for his unique way of watching matches during the 2025 Africa Cup in Morocco; he has been supporting the national team in this manner for over a decade.
