The US actress Linda Evans was born Linda Evanstad on 18 November 1942 in Hartford, Connecticut. She became known for her roles in the western series "Big Valley" and the television series "The Denver Clan" (Dynasty). Linda Evans was married to actor and director John Derek from 1968 to 1974 and then to Stan Herman from 1976 to 1981. For several years she was in a relationship with the Greek composer Yanni.
