Lindsay Clancy trial: murder trial fails

The high-profile trial of Lindsay Clancy, who killed her three young children, has collapsed. Presiding Judge William Sullivan has declared the trial a mistrial after the jury in the US state of Massachusetts was unable to reach a verdict. The jury had previously convened for its seventh day of deliberations. It had already informed the judge twice that it was unable to reach a verdict.
