Lynn, Vera (20.03.1917 - 18.06.2020)
The singer Vera Lynn, (20. March 1917 - 18. June 2020), became known as "The Forces' Sweetheart" during the Second World War. She was the first British woman to reach the top of the US Billboard charts in 1952 with the song "Auf Wiederseh'n, Sweetheart". Pink Floyd dedicated the song "Vera" to her on the album "The Wall".
