born on 5 September 1946 in Zanzibar, died on 24 November 1991 in London. Freddie Mercury is unforgotten as the lead singer of the rock band "Queen". He wrote and sang world hits like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Are the Champions". The early death of the musician, who suffered from AIDS, shook his fan community.
