Multi-million-pound project in Wash­ing­ton: Algae are covering the newly renovated Re­flect­ing Pool at the Lincoln Memorial

Following the completion of the renovation work, the water in the reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington has turned green. This is due to an algal bloom that has spread throughout the newly renovated water.
