New «Sex and the City» series: Chris Noth back as Mr. Big
US actor Chris Noth (66) is returning to the camera in his iconic role from the cult series "Sex and the City". Noth will star as Mr Big in the planned series "And Just Like That", streaming service HBO Max announced on Wednesday. "How could we ever do a new chapter of the Sex And The City story without our Mr. Big?" producer Michael Patrick King said, according to the statement. In January, HBO Max had announced the remake of the cult series about New York women and their adventures in love - with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis on board as leads and executive producers. Of the original female cast, only Kim Cattrall is missing in the role of the self-assured Samantha Jones. Parker is back as relationship columnist Carrie Bradshaw, Davis as brunette Charlotte York and Cynthia Nixon as redheaded lawyer Miranda Hobbes. The revival will highlight the lives of the three 50-something friends. Ten half-hour episodes are planned, with filming starting in the summer.
