O.J. Simpson murder trial

Former football star and actor O.J. Simpson was arrested on June 17, 1994 on suspicion of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her boyfriend Ronald Goldman. The "trial of the century", which was broadcast live on television at the time, ended in an acquittal. In 2008, Simpson was sentenced to 33 years in prison for an armed robbery at a Las Vegas hotel-casino, of which he served nine years. He was released on parole on Oct. 1, 2017.
