Prince Louis of Lux­em­bourg breaks en­gage­ment

Luxembourg's Prince Louis (35) and his fiancée, French lawyer Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue (30), have announced the end of their engagement. "We will not marry," Prince Louis said in a joint interview with French magazine Point de Vue (Tuesday). There had been no "shadow" or problem in the relationship, "but fundamental differences of opinion that have led us to this decision." They wanted to remain close to each other in friendship, both explained. The couple had announced their engagement in April 2021. The wedding was to have taken place this year. The third eldest son of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg was already married once and has two sons from that marriage.
