Racism scandal: French initiate legal action
The scandal surrounding racist insults directed at French superstar Kylian Mbappé continues to cause a major stir. The French Football Federation filed a complaint against Paraguayan Senator Celeste Amarilla de Boccia. The Paris public prosecutor's office subsequently launched an immediate investigation into public insults of a racist nature and public incitement to hatred or violence, the authority announced.
