Rendille people living in Kenya's arid northern regions
Rendille people, living in the arid northern regions of Kenya and are defined as a nomadic-shepherd community, continue to maintain their traditional lifestyle today in the village of Kargi, Marsabit County, Kenya on August 27, 2024. The community sustain their livelihoods through the herding of camels, cattle, sheep, and goats. Known for their skills in livestock raising, the Rendille, who are called 'those who hold the stick of God', also draw attention with their colorful traditional clothes and jewelry.
