Rindt, Jochen (18.04.1942 - 05.09.1970)
On 5 September 1970 the racing driver Jochen Rindt had a fatal accident during training for the Italian Grand Prix in Monza. Because of his points advantage, he is the only Formula 1 racer to date who has been crowned posthumously as World Champion. Jochen Rindt was born on 18 April 1942 in Mainz (Germany), grew up with his grandparents in Graz and started his races for Austria.
