Charleston Church Shooting
The shooting at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, occurred on 17 June 2015. The 21-year-old Dylann Roof entered the church during a bible lesson and shot dead nine African American congregation members. Roof was later arrested and prosecuted, where he was found guilty of multiple murders.
