Simon, Paul
Paul Simon was born on October 13, 1941 in Newark (New Jersey). Singer-songwriter Paul Simon had international success with the duo Simon & Garfunkel ("Bridge Over Troubled Water"). The duo broke up in 1970, briefly reuniting in 1981 to give a legendary concert in Central Park in New York. Paul Simon, however, continued to pursue his solo career. "Graceland" was his most successful album, awarded two Grammys.
