British film icon Maggie Smith (born 28. December 1934) is a two-time Oscar winner and has also won a Tony Award, four Emmys, five BAFTAs and three Golden Globes. She was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1990 and made a Companion of Honour in 2014.
