Springsteen, Bruce (born 23.09.1949)
The American rock singer, guitarist and composer Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen was born on 23 September 1949 in Long Branch (New Jersey). The band leader of "E-Street" is an Oscar and Tony Award winner and has also won the Grammy 20 times. The most commercially successful rock musician has sold around 170 million records worldwide thanks to his popularity. Because he paid his band members their fees in cash in the 1970s, he was nicknamed "The Boss". His most famous song is "Born in the U.S.A.".
