SZ Photo - Flugplatz Schleißheim
Der Flugplatz Schleißheim, gegründet 1912, ist der älteste noch existierende Flugplatz Deutschlands und diente zunächst der militärischen Luftfahrt. Während des Ersten und Zweiten Weltkriegs war er ein bedeutender Standort für Ausbildung und Einsätze der deutschen Luftwaffe. Heute wird der Flugplatz vor allem für historische Flugzeuge genutzt und ist Teil des Deutschen Museums mit einer Luftfahrtausstellung.
