SZ Photo - Ruhrkampf 1923-1925

The French military government in the occupied Ruhr region had to put up with resistance of the population. Sabotage and demonstrations along with the socalled passive resistance complicated the administration. In 1925 the French troops had to withdraw due to increasing international pressure. - This selection contains pictures from our partner agency Süddeutsche Zeitung Photo.
