T-Rex Tristan Otto back in Berlin

Tyrannosaurus rex Tristan Otto is back in Berlin: from this Tuesday (23.08.2022), the twelve-metre-long and four-metre-high skeleton will be on display in the exhibition "Dinosaurs! Age of the Giant Lizards" at the Museum für Naturkunde. Tristan Otto was already on display there for four years until the beginning of 2020 and had attracted around three million visitors, according to the museum. The two private owners of Tristan Otto named the skeleton after their sons and made it available to the Berlin Museum of Natural History free of charge. In parallel, scientists researched the more than 65 million-year-old remains of the Upper Cretaceous predatory dinosaur. With 170 original bones, the skeleton is considered particularly well preserved. Tristan Otto was a guest at the Natural History Museum in Copenhagen until the end of 2021 - in the special exhibition "King of Dinosaurs".
