The style of Jackie Kennedy Onassis
She was not only the first lady of hearts, but also the first lady of fashion: As the wife of US President John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, known as Jackie, not only set trends in her own time; her classically elegant style has endured through the decades and still serves as a role model for designers and fashionistas today. Fashion designer Oleg Cassini, who previously dressed Hollywood celebrities, shaped the typical "Jackie style" like no other as her personal advisor: Minimalist costumes and glamorous A-line gowns, pillbox hats and oversized sunglasses.
